  4. Hi, thanks for reading! Very exciting times ahead. Jim was professional and helpful. Would definitely recommend him for your knockdown. His number is 0418 347 035. Company name is Brechlen Pty Ltd. So far we have been quite happy with Metricon, but I can't stress enough, have everything in writing and check over your plans...

  5. Thanks! Did you ebay your old stuff from the old house or get a salvage company to come in and do the hard work?

  6. Hi, we did the hard work and posted our stuff on ebay. We sold the kitchen, curtains, doors, wardrobes, bluestone and even our roses. It did take it's toll with people coming in and out of the house - luckily we had already moved out....but it was worth it. I did contact a few salvage companies but they were more interested in period style homes. They actually told me we would be better off selling our stuff on ebay. If you are going to sell stuff on ebay I recommend being out of the house and also just make sure you will be available to show people through - especially if you are selling a kitchen or wardrobes. It's amazing what people will buy.

  7. Update: thank you so much. Jim was fantastic. The team were really careful around my fruit trees which are staying. We demolished last week and get final M building plans next week. We ebayed every single thing inside the house - and it all sold! It paid for around 35% of the demolition. Not bad for what I didn't want or need! Great to see your project advancing so fast! Ev.
